Postal worker killed in crash in north Harris County

Harris County deputies are investigating a deadly crash on the 11700 block of Antoine Drive involving a postal truck and a pickup.

Officials say the postal driver was transported to a hospital in critical condition but was later pronounced dead. The pickup driver has been detained and is showing possible signs of intoxication.

Southbound lanes remain closed as deputies with the Vehicular Crimes Division continue their investigation. Sheriff Ed Gonzalez shared the update on X.
