Turkey Leg Hut co-owner Nakia Holmes was arrested Wednesday for allegedly helping a wanted felon avoid arrest, authorities say.

Holmes is accused of helping Johnathan Saizon, who was arrested for allegedly kidnapping and assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

Holmes and Saizon reportedly share the same Cypress address. Her bond was set at $10,000, and she is currently in custody. Her next court appearance is scheduled for October 17.

Saizon, 38, faces multiple felony charges, including aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault of a family member.

Authorities allege that on Oct. 8, he went to his ex-girlfriend’s home, forced her into his vehicle, and assaulted her over several hours, including with a tire iron, before releasing her at a hospital. She sustained serious injuries that required medical attention.

Holmes was stopped for an expired registration with the wanted felon’s mother in the car; both live at the same address. She initially denied anyone was home but later changed her story. Detectives say the suspect fled out the back door and jumped fences before being apprehended.
