A line of thunderstorms is developing out west of the Houston area Friday night.
A line of thunderstorms passed through Houston Saturday morning.
They began shortly after 3 a.m. and lasted for several hours. By the time the sun rose, the skies had mostly cleared.
The potential existed for damaging winds, large hail, as well as chances for an isolated tornado.
We will see a period of quiet weather for the afternoon before potentially another round of strong storms moves through Saturday evening.
