23 train cars carrying gravel derail in Waller County
Emergency crews are responding after a train reportedly derailed in Waller County Monday.

Emergency crews say 23 train cars have derailed in Waller County.
According to Dean Hensley, Assistant Chief with the Waller County Fire Marshal’s Office, the train cars were carrying gravel and derailed near the intersection of Business 290 and James Muse Parkway.
Authorities say there are no hazards from the derailment and no injuries.
Old Houston Highway is closed between Blinka and GH Circle as crews respond to the incident.
