Woman killed, man injured after shooting outside nightclub in Southwest Houston

A woman was killed, and a man was injured after a fight lead to a shootout outside a nightclub in Southwest Houston.

Officers found a car riddled with bullets in the parking lot on South Gessner and the Southwest Freeway at about 3 a.m. Sunday.

A woman, 30, inside had been shot and died at the scene.

The man, who was driving, was shot and was taken to the hospital.

Two others inside the car were not hurt.

Police believe the woman who died got into a fight with another woman as they were leaving the nightclub.

They said their two boyfriends pulled out guns and started shooting.

Other people injured in the shooting had showed up to other hospitals and were being treated.

A description of the shooter had not been released.
