Woman charged with murder after allegedly running over husband after argument in Pasadena

A woman has been arrested and charged with murder after police in Pasadena say she ran over her husband with her car after an argument.
It happened early Sunday morning in the 3100 block of Red Bluff Road.
Pasadena Police were dispatched at 3:28 a.m. after getting reports of a person being hit by a black Chevrolet Tahoe. The vehicle reportedly left the scene.
Officers arrived and found 42-year-old Leonardo Mendoza with serious injuries. He was taken to a hospital where he died.
Detectives learned Mendoza and his wife, 37-year-old Alina Gonzalez-Mendoza, had been in an argument at their home shortly before the incident. The victim left the house and was walking on the sidewalk when Gonzalez-Mendoza allegedly struck him with the vehicle.
Gonzalez-Mendoza is currently in custody at the Pasadena Police Department and is awaiting transport to the Harris County Joint Processing Center.
