Santa Fe police warns community after parents report tainted candy found at homecoming parade
The department is urging anyone who was at the parade to check through any candy picked up at the parade.

The Santa Fe Police Department is warning the community after receiving several calls from concerned parents saying candy picked up at Wednesday’s Santa Fe High School homecoming parade was tainted.
The department said pin-style needles were reportedly found in candy picked up during the parade.
Parents who reported finding needles were reportedly in different areas along the parade route ranging from Centennial Oaks to Highway 6 and Warpath.
The department is urging anyone who was at the parade to check through any candy picked up at the parade.
