Montgomery County Animal Shelter hosting ‘Spooktacular’ adoption event Saturday

The Montgomery County Animal Shelter is inviting families to its “Spooktacular” Adoption Event on Saturday, Oct. 18.
The event will feature reduced adoption fees, games, prizes and a trunk-or-treat for children. It runs from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the shelter, located at 8535 TX-242 in Conroe.
Candac Thomas, who joined a recent segment promoting the event, brought along two 4-month-old puppies named Abbott and Autumn — both available for adoption and expected to attend Saturday’s festivities.
