Ground stops lifted at Bush, Hobby airports

Ground stops have been lifted at George Bush Intercontinental Airport and William P. Hobby Airport because of thunderstorms passing through the area.

The stop at Hobby was issued at 5:14 p.m., and the stop at Bush came roughly 15 minutes later at 5:30 p.m.

Both ground stops are scheduled to last until 6:30. The ground stop at Hobby was lifted shortly after 6 p.m., and Bush was changed from a ground delay shortly after 6:30 p.m.
