6 people, including 3 children, hospitalized after fire destroys mobile home in Highlands
The three adults are all in critical condition while the children are stable, according to authorities.
Six people, including three children, are now in the hospital after a fire at their mobile home Monday morning.
Firefighters with the Highlands Fire Department responded to the fire at the mobile home located in the 900 block of Pauline Street a little after midnight.
6 people were transported to memorial Herman downtown for smoke inhalation and burn injuries. 1 Elder Adult Male was life-flighted in critical condition, another Adult male was transported in critical condition. 1 adult female and 3 children were in stable condition.— @hcfmo (@hcfmo) October 27, 2025
The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office said six people in total were transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation and burn injuries. Officials said two of the men and a woman transported are currently in critical condition. The children are all stable.
Several crews responded to the fire, including Channelview Fire Department, Crosby Fire Department, Sheldon Fire Department and Baytown EMS.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
