Israel kills Hamas armed wing spokesman Abu Obeida
Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz on Sunday said the IDF (Israel Defence Forces) had killed the spokesman for Hamas's armed wing, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades. Abu Obeida, whose real name according to the Israeli military is Hudaifa al-Kahlut, was a well-known figure who always appeared in military fatigues with a Palestinian keffiyeh obscuring his face in media appearances.
