Wonderful weekend weather across Houston

For those who love cooler mornings, the next few days bring a welcome break.

Early morning lows in Houston are forecast to dip into the mid-60s from Friday through Monday, thanks to the combination of dry air and clear skies.

This evening’s Forecast:

Tonight will be a very pleasant evening! We have clear skies and temperatures will quickly drop through the 80s and into the 70s with low humidity.

The dry conditions put us at risk for fire danger this evening. So use extreme caution if working with equipment that could spark a fire, don’t throw cigarettes out your window or park by dry grass, and skip the bonfires this week. Humidity levels will remain very low through the weekend.

Saturday’s Forecast:

Saturday will feel spectacular! We will start the day with low humidity. Temperatures will be in the upper-50s and lower-60s. Get outside early while it feels like autumn!Saturday morning temps

As we go through the day, sunshine will warm us to the lower 90s, but we will stay dry and comfortable. An air quality alert has been issued for the day. This means if you suffer from respiratory problems like asthma you may want to limit your time outdoors in the afternoon. Saturday Afternoon

Sunday’s Forecast:

Sunday’s another great day. We’ll wake up in the 60s and warm into the upper-80s. There will be a bit more cloud cover Sunday afternoon compared to Saturday, but still expect it to be very sunny. Sunday Afternoon

Tracking the tropics:

Tropical Storm Jerry and newly formed Tropical Storm Karen are churning in the Atlantic this weekend. Karen will remain out to sea in the north Atlantic and Jerry has been slowly decreasing in strength but still headed for some impact in Bermuda late this weekend. Tropical Storm Jerry and Karen
