Gaza strikes kill at least 38 as Israel and Hamas trade blame for stalled truce talks
Indirect talks on a US proposal for a 60-day pause in fighting in Gaza remained deadlocked on Saturday as Hamas and Israel each accused the other of sabotaging attempts to secure a ceasefire and hostage release deal. Gaza's civil defence agency said at least 38 people were killed across the territory, including in an overnight air strike on an area sheltering the displaced.
