Hundreds killed in Druze&majority Sweida city after sectarian violence
At least 203 people have been killed in sectarian fighting involving Sunni tribes, Druze militias and Syrian troops in the predominantly Druze city of Sweida since Sunday, a war monitor said Tuesday. Earlier Israel launched airstrikes in defence of the Druze minority near its border as Syrian authorities were accused of summary executions of civilians.
